Is HEMA likely to stock tents at all?

We don't have Argos. We do have an outdoor store called Bever, but it's not cheap. Don't think you can get anything delivered without any address. Are you not staying anywhere else for at least a night?

Both shops I posted have in-store delivery, so you can order online and pick it up in the central AMS store.

Trying to buy a tent off of here now, but don't know whether it will be delivered to the store in time (Thursday). Can any dutch fukers see if they can find it on the site, please? Tried ringing, but unable to get through. Would be the central Amsterdam store. Thanks.

Which one are you trying to buy - it shows the stock level on each of them. They might even have it in stock already.

edit: They say deliveries take 1-4 days so if it's not in stock in the shop i wouldn't take the risk…

Nice! Heading there on the Sunday for the 'het weekend'. Did the same at Trouw a couple of years ago and it was ace. Any others?

Going Amsterdam in May for 3 nights Thurs-Sun with the Missus, can anyone recommend a decent hotel within 10-15 minutes of Dam Square, or somewhere round the 9 Streets area. Budget of £350 each

Currently on my 8th night in the Hoxton atm so would recommend, location is preferable to the Pulitzer and feels a bit livelier through the week and especially at the weekends.

I'm going Amsterdam tomorrow but it was a lot cheaper to leave a night earlier than the rest of the party. Is there any cafes which are open 24 hours or best part of that I can have a smoke and just zone out until the morning when I can check in to accomodation?

To my knowledge all " coffee shops" are legally required to close by 1am. Considering it is still winter you wont be able to walk around comfortably either. What time are you arriving there ?

Arriving about 8pm - there's a bar called San Francisco night bar which is open until 4am. Anyone know if this is a jazz bar or a proper nightclub. Don't fancy Gabba techno in the early hours.

So could have a smoke, move on to the bar, leave 4am and stumble around until morning or kip at the airport maybe?

Short answer, no. Not on a Thursday.
