No worries Burt.

Still getting back into Android as well. I haven't done much because there's too much out there! Will have a look at Chronus. I've gone to Firefox, having used Chrome and CM browser. Any recommendations on browsers?

After a long time with ios, I got a Sony tablet and I've been really happy with Android. Could update my phone too, anyone happen to have an invite for 64GB Oneplus?

edit: got the invite.

Nope, go for a class 10 (it's the little number on the card, surrounded by a circle).

edit: I got this one, which has served me well, especially with recording 4k video - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-UHS-I-CLASS-Micro-Adapter/dp/B00J29BR3Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie;=UTF8&qid;=1422879381&sr;=1-1&keywords;=class+10+32gb

Looking for some nexus 5 compatible earphones with a functioning 3 button in line remote. Any suggestions. Unbelievable that android are really lacklustre with this.

Thanks, Gaz - bought a 64GB one, brill Cool

On a similar vein to YLAup's question, what earphones are Z3 owners using? The stock ones only have a start stop inline function and ain't really all that.

Wish Sony would hurry up and release the Lollipop update Sad

I was frantically tapping on the Android version in Settings > About phone and it took me in to this weird interactive Kitkat graphic. Then decided to see what tapping all the other bits does and managed to unlock the Developer Options by tapping away at the Build Number. After looking around, seems its pretty well known tho!

got myself a hudl2, pretty decent bit of kit. Well worth it for £100.

Sony has spun off its mobile division after heavy losses - looks like the Xperia line will be coming to an end very soon.

Best place to get a Sony z3 screen repaired? Dropped the slippery little fucker and the touchscreen is fucked.

Is there any physical damage to the casing etc? If not then you might get warranty repair. Mine slipped off the arm of the couch and the screen shat the bed.

Nope, just a scratch across the screen that appears to have made it totally unresponsive - can't even turn the thing off as it's locked.

It's on contract with O2 however I assume I contact Sony direct to claim under the warranty?

Yeah direct to Sony. Be warned tho… Mine took over 3 weeks to come back as they were 'waiting on a part'. It was a fucking saga.

my z3 suffered from something called sudden death syndrome caused by a faulty flap(snigger) which meant water got im. Sony are replacing it hopefully as they know it's an issue that can happen.
I didn't want to be without a phone so i bought an experia E3 as a backup phone today and i gotta say it's pretty fucking good! Only 4gb of onboard storage(has expansion) but as a backup phone for £80 its as good as you'll get as it's bascially a carbon copy of the z3 just a touch slower and a touch less glossy. The body is plastic so less fragile.
I read some reviews and they were pretty bad but honestly i don't see any issues with it, if you have a z3 compact it's a great companion phone for holidays/festivals. Food for thought.

I've been having a weird issue with my Z3C where the scroll and keyboard go mental every now and again. A reboot seems to have resolved it for now but I noticed a couple of other people having the issue. Hopefully it doesn't come back and/or is fixed in the Lollipop if it ever comes.

it starts registering multiple screen taps or swipes when i'm not doing it. So trying to scroll down for example means it goes up and down really erratically. Trying to use the backspace showed loads of keyboard swipes which I definitely wasn't doing. I even put it down to use it in case it was my chubby thumb getting involved. Cleaning the screen also didn't work. It does it for a bit then calms down but hasn't occured again yet since the reboot. I read that its a software problem so I guess it could be anything from the keyboard (just the Google one) or the Launcher. I guess the variation of apps and processes in this instance is a bit of a pitfall in terms of trying to diagnose an issue like this.

only thing i've ever had was when i'm in the mail app and i swipe to delete a message it deleted the one below. I deleted the app from the phone and never had the same issue. Strange though.
