The note Pro is great, the screen size is bigger than the older models but the phone is actually a fair bit smaller due to it been pretty much all screen.

Been using Xiaomi phones for about 3 years now, no complaints. Yeah they might be listening to me but fuck it….

Edit: go on GSM arena, plenty of reviews for their phones.

Torn between the Realme X2 and the Mi 9T. Anyone got experience with both OS's?

Never used an Oppo but obviously as above have used Miui(on a Mi6, Mi8 and Pocophone). My current phone is the poco and i'm not sure if it's the same build as the Mi9T, but It's a pretty stripped back version of android super fast.

Direct from Xiaomi here in the uk, gives you protection if anything goes wrong(hasn't for me yet) https://event.mi.com/uk/sales2019/anniversary
Can also get them from Amazon direct too and maybe Three & o2

Not worth going down the gearbest/eglobalcentral route? Xiaomi website only has the pro on it for some reason

I'll throw my hat in from personal experience I've ordered loads from Gearbest/bangood, some high value items too before such as Laptops, tablets and OnePlus phones, and would happily do it again if there was a clear economic benefit of importing.

No issues, never had import duties - but you gotta understand that there's a risk if anything goes wrong, also can take some time to get here sometimes…

May be a silly question but unsure how to fix .. got a chromecast and I’m streaming to it from my Mac via wi fi. It’s a video I’ve downloaded from torrent but when I’m watching every so often it stops and has to load again … is it because everyone is home using WiFi or is there a way I can fix

Can still use fingerprint though, not really a biggie. I'd prefer that over facial recognition…

Bought the new pixel4 through my company and actually regret it now. Camera is as usual amazing, but nothing else is really a big enough upgrade for me to bother. As above, Lack of fingerprint on back is a pain, it was such an easy to use feature for everything.. really find facial recognition overkill/less efficient in general.
