I think murray will win his 3rd major this Sunday in 4 sets, but raonic is playing very well, so it will be close all round with Murray trying to neutralise the serve.

Biggest chance to win a third major title with the djok out of it. It would be quite a shock if he doesnt win tbh.

Those 4 are by far the best tennis players ever right? When you watch games from like the 90s it's almost an embarrassment.

Fed, Rafa, Djokovic. Yes. Muray still needs to win Australian and French to be a GOAT.

Lendl will give him a chance. Really knows how to get the best out of him.

With Lendl: 3-2 in Grand Slam finals.
Without Lendl: 0-6

murray is a top top player, not fit to lace boots of djok and fec though in terms of legacy. Murray will finish on 5 slams perhaps.

Djok is just such a bellend though. Fed and nadal seem like nice guys, classy etc. Everyone just seems to hate Djok and rightly so.

I don't even think you can compare players now to someone like Sampras. Obviously Sampras was amazing but when you watch his games now it's like a joke. It's simply horrendous and so boring

If Djokovic had been in the Wimbledon final this year, would Murray have won?

Discuss.

Djok really is unlikable. Totally brilliant though. Murray seemed a different animal this year, totally focused and full on attack. I think he would have casued nokav some real problems and would have been very close.

So strange that many prefer the modern game to older ones. I find tennis today to be mostly about strength and there is too much reliance on baseline rallies. Seemed to be more elegance in the games from the eighties and nineties. Maybe if they limited how powerful racquets were it would force players into the net more and employ more tactics. Even the women's game is just about who can wallop the ball hardest and for the longest while, so I can't even be bothered watching that.

Being able to return a 147 mile serve and then win the point is a skill to be admired. Fed,djok, nadal and Murray are the elite few who have mastered the return of serve to remain at the top of this game for so long. Give me modern day tennis over big serve players such as Isner, Sampras, krajicek, Philippoussis, ivanisevic, Roddick etc

Raonic reminded me so much of Sampras with the big serve and coming to the net a lot. As robotic tennis at times. Murray proved you need more than that to be a tennis great these days as the game has moved on.

What was with all the histrionics pointing to his coaches family, Proper McEnroe - great to see proper commitment from a brit.
Kept panning to Kim - real potty mouth. nice

Lendl purposefully went on a toilet break during the first tiebreak to make Murray angry. He knows that while Murray is sucking up positive energy from the crowd and his box, the one person he still craves to impress the most is his coach. The 'McEnroe effect' actually helps keep Murray focused and not drop down a gear when the ruthless edge is needed more than ever to conclude a close set.

He is a huge part of murrays Grand Slam success because he has failed almost as many times in finals. There is no better coach Murray could work with.

loved the fact Lendl couldn't help show his emotions showing thru (andy that AM ribbed him in the interview!)
