I'll only be living there for a year. I did it for the money. Will return to Glesga in a year. I hear they don't like people from West Central Scotland…

Ah in that case welcome to paradise Smiling
In all seriousness as long as you're not walking around in shellsuit bottoms, a burberry cap and drinking buckie at the bus stop you'll be fine.

Lee Hendrie not really old and really shit (was he ever good?)

I was up over the weekend and went into Hanon for the first time. Brilliant shop and had a good chat with someone I assumed was owner and another guy who was on the till. Nice folk and some very nice gear. Bought a Norse Projects overshirt type thing

Went to the Marcliffe for Sunday lunch as well.

Would have been Eddie or Brian.

Sound bunch in there, not pretentious like you get in some places, they just love their streetwear and happy to talk about it.

Where in Aberdeen are you bods from? I live near Aberdeen Uni. I hear that Pearl Lounge is closing down… The Priory to follow apparently - what a tremendous loss to the city.

Most likely Priory will end up being redone by someone else? It's far too much of a good location to lose. Although does that mean the Epic group have gone bust because I think Pearl and Prory are the same company?

They were both in trouble over licensing according to the press last week, Priory was described as 'the most violent club in the city'.

Hate both places with a passion, Priory fucked up Belmont St big style.

I live about 20 minutes out of the city, used to live just off union street, yet was proving mad expensive.

The priory has turned Belmont street into a war zone on a friday/saturday night in particular, so much so that you avoid it like the plague on weekend nights if you are unfortunate to find yourself out in town .

Anyone heard about this Rumour temporary club that is being set up? going to be running for about 8 weekends at the carmalite hotel?

In other news, Letitbleed have just booked Annie mac to play early october at snafu, jus for a heads-up.

Yeah, a few good DJs up in the coming months - Booka Shade, Felix Da Housecat, Hot Chip and 2 Bears, Popov, Claude Van Stroke, Dave Clarke, Annie Mac and of course Erol Alkan…

Is there anywhere in Aberdeen that stocks Our Legacy? I thought I read somewehre that Signature did but checking their website doesn't suggest they do. Maybe I just imagined it.

Dont think so, Pure would be the most likely candidate, but it's not listed on their site.

That may of been where I was thinking of. It would fit in better there than in Signature.

Thanks.
