Dick's,
Frontiers Man and
Kestin Hare,
ALC in the unlikely event you're looking for jeans for your girlfriend, and
Harvey Nichols if you don't have one where you are.
But to be honest if I were you I'd concentrate on the Fringe. Chin rubs all round.
Brendon Burns: Dumb White Guy at Liquid Room Annexe (9c Victoria Street, venue 276, 18:15 - 19:10) was good.

Nice to see Black Medicine still hasn't closed its doors. Used to be one of my main sources of caffeine during exam times.

Was there at the weekend, atmosphere with the final fringe weekend on was
Street performer juggling a chain-saw yesterday was pretty class, as were a few others I stood and watched over the weekend.
Went to Civerinos, overhyped by miles. Paper plates - fuck off. City Café breakfast was good for a full fry-up, recommended.
Definitely going to make effort next year after that first fringe experience.

Up for a few days shortly, anyone recommend places for decent food? either day or night time (not fine dining/small portions)

This place is great, good portion sizes:
https://scranandscallie.comThe concept is pub food from Michelin-starred chefs. There used to be a long waiting list but you might get lucky, book as far in advance as you can.

Anyone recommend a decent late bar/club? Decent crowd, good music, dance floor
