Hi-Definition wrote: shopping centre I work in began to flood this afternoon Jawdropping!

Are you in Princes Mall now? (no stalker)

Drove through Morningside on the way home yesterday to see if any of the flooding was still there - all the water has gone, but there were sandbags up against shop doors.

Yeah split my time between there and the shop in ocean terminal, it was princess mall that had a mini stream at the weekend though. While it was happening there was a customer in the shop from baton rouge who lived through katrina which made me re-evaluate how bad the weather really was.

Went to the Scottish national history museum yesterday, think it had just re-opened. If you have a few hours to kill its perfect.

Also went to the temp venue/bar that has been set up in George square(i think it was) pretty busy/good for a big group of people.

The National Museum of Scotland - the new bit opened on Friday after a long refurbishment. Although actually it's the old bit.

Unmeet at Goodstead on Wednesday maybe?

Goodstead wrote: This wednesday we are having the opening for an Art show featuring the artists of the brand 1 in a 100.

1 in a 100 is a new brand on the scene, creating T-Shirts in editions of one hundred, each numbered and signed by the artist.

Started in London, they promote up-and-coming artists in the city. The brand has International views however as there is a 1 in a 100 Tokyo and New York in the pipeline, which will evolve its own feel and style, reflecting local environments and projecting the talents of its artists.

For the goodstead show, some of the artists involved with the brand will be showing some prints and will be decorating one of our large display windows.

A great way to celebrate the festival being in full swing, we will have booze and tunes at the ready!

Head down for 6pm, running till around 10pm, it will be a great night.

Apologies, missed that. I'm away from Edinburgh - I split with my gf, it was messy.

I'm back Sunday, next week?

What's good at the festival this year? Preferably stand up in the evening. I'm heading down for the rugby on Saturday.

Definitely, I've been meaning to say this is long overdue, and we need to rescue gregdash from the Triangle of Doom.

Roslyn abbey?
Go to one of the beachy places?
Go up a hill somewhere?

There's millions of things, also I don't believe you've been to every gallery with them Laughing out loud
