It's been a few months but thanks for all the recommendations that were made on here. Particularly at Andy. Ended up staying in Hotel Missoni as got a good deal in the end and it's got a great location. Also when we arrived the bedsheets had an Iron burn in them so went and told manager who upgraded us into one of the suites for free as they were vacant (csb). Would recommend to anyone else thinking of staying there.

I looked into airport parking recently and the cheapest I found was £10.50 for 3 days. Then you can take the Airport Express into town for £6 return.

Yeah, stayed in the Missoni and parked there.
Time before I stayed in an apartment at Parliament Square and parked here http://g.co/maps/u8e7r It was snowing so the double yellows weren't visible.

Great idea, this unmeet has followed the usual fuk unmeet course so far.

However, I'm mentally busy at the moment, struggling to leave the house during the week Laughing out loud Might be able to manage Saturday afternoon, but I might be off to Germany with work on Sunday….

Runs from now until the 4th - http://www.stewartbrewing.co.uk/entry.php?redir=/news/Bow-Bar-Beer-Festival_69.html

It's not looking likely I'll be able to get out before the weekend Sad

Thanks for all the advice on here guys.

Found somewhere to park the car for free, went to some great bars and eateries.

Reminded me why i should be spending more time in the capital. Cool

edinburgh fukers, i'm going to be fighting in a boxing show in usher hall next friday (9th). its intended to promote boxing at universities, and will feature select fighters from all the edinburgh unis (think the majority of fighters are from UoE) going up against lads from the other clubs in edinburgh. should be a good night, attendance is expected to be around 2,500 and is close to selling out - if anyone wants to come along, get in touch with me, I can get hold of tickets for you (£10 for standard seats, £20 for ringside, £30 for VIP).

hey fukers,

thoughts please…

do i spend an extra 40 bonger for a hotel 'buffet' breakfast (for me and the wee one) when visiting edinburgh this winter, or would i be better off venturing somewhere else nearby (central) for a tasty start to the day?

much love
