Quick question…

Got some petite standards, they fit just about spot on waist wise, the thighs are quite tight but this is expected? However the length seems huge (3 rolls!), I wouldn't mind having them taking in a little, just below the knee to the hem.

Do I get them altered now or wait till they've fully stretched?

the legs wont strech enought to make any difference whatsoever, just do it now so you dont catch them on the floor and put a hole in them like i did.

They will shrink in the leg by a few cm so just keep that in mind when getting them taken up, they will definitely start to stretch out in the thigh though and I think with selvedge you can't alter from the knee to the hem without having to take in from the thigh too, thats what the DD said to me anyway.

http://www.rawrdenim.com/2012/08/a-p-c-petit-standard-just-released/ > About new petit standard

What a.p.c. say themselves:
' Cut like our new Standard Jeans, with a lower rise, and narrower waist, hip and leg. Narrow leg, slightly fitted at bottom to give the appearance of a straight leg. Designed for slender builds. By your choice of size, you may wear them tight or normal. Button fly. Five pockets. The first button is engraved 'A.P.C. rue Madame près du Luxembourg'. Red selvage. We advise you to choose one size down. '

Just got some 28" petit standards in from mr p and they are tiny, can just about do up the bottom button on the fly. Now, do i go for a 29 or up to a 30? sizing on the site suggests a jump in length on the leg on the 30s

please help me internet friends

The part of my body I want the jeans to rest on measures 29" around, and I wear 27" in PS. They end up fitting slim, not particularly skinny.
