Do people size down on the washed, stretched models as well? Interested in copping a gray pair of PS. Cool

After a couple of recent unplanned washes (as the kid decided to throw up on them), fades are coming along nicely. (excuse the crotch pic)

I love the fit of my new cures after they have just been washed, but they stretch out loads straight away and become too big.. if you give them a soak and let them dry do they shrink back down? Rather then having to put them on a full wash?

Yep they do. This is why i dont get people not washing they jeans, feel so good all tight again after a wash.
P.s still aint found a better dark raw denim than apc for fit quality and fadage.

Yeah I really didnt like my cures as they fit too baggy and didnt feel slim enough, worn them as beaters for work for a year and finally washed them over the weekend as they were stinking and they fit perfect now, but can alreay feel them stretching out..

I dont like to lose a lot of colour from them which is why I dont wash them more often

No i hate it as well. Not into getting epic fades, i just buy worn denim for that, i like my dark blues to stay dark blue for as long as they possibly can. I just wear them about six months with a couple of washes and then get a new crispy pair and bin the old ones or give them to someone i know to wear for work.

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but.

Petit New Standards, size down or go true?

basic rule of thumb is either just manage to get the top button done up or not at all, they will stretch heaps

anywhere from 2-4 sizes down

for an example my size 27 ps are now just under a 32 (actual measurement) in the waist
