Changing production to Vietnam is definitely a cost cutting measure. Probably next to Bangladesh in terms of quality.

Used to champion apc so hard, now i honestly prefer my gap. You can get youre actual fucking leg length for a start, which is a massive plus.

I found a pair of the GAP raws in my local just after christmas, they didn't ever stock them but had a random returned pair. unfortunately not the right length for me but the fit was great, very good cop for whatever discounted price fukers got them for.

Anyone tried the new washed black PS? Was wondering how soft the material is? looking for a black slim jean with slight rigidity in them so was wondering if I should give these a go or not? Or if anyone is selling the original selvedge black pair in w32 let me know.

Someone (can't remember who) said in a thread on here that they reckon APC do free crotch repairs, this at all true? Always seem to have a pair needing some patching.

Only if you use a shit tailor. Tapering from the inside is more work but also looks better.

Because if you do it on the outside and cut away fabric you'll lose the selvedge. If they don't and just make the leg tighter you'll get this, a wide selvedge line. You have no selvedge on the inside so you can just cut away the fabric.

oh right safe.
great idea, risk losing the cut of the denim so that you get to show off a tiny bit of red thread on the turn up of your jeans.

top info bro. any more top advice?

How would it ruin the cut more than done from the outside? If done in moderation it doesn't ruin it at all and saves the selvedge line.

And right now you're also saving the selvedge line by making it much wider so what are you saying Laughing out loud

Pretty sure you lose an inch in the rise when you taper from the inside. So it does affect the cut of the jeans.

nah just taper from a bit below the rise if you want the whole leg done doesn't, most taper jobs are only from the knee down anyways

and @themistake as soon as you do any tapering inside or out you are changing the cut of the denim Puzzled

A spread selvedge looks shit Imo . But can get away with it on black denim menace..

And you don't always lose from the rise, obviously depends on where you are tapering.
