Liberty had quite a few of the varsity over the weekend.

I'd say atleast a full size break on the rack.

I found the only major difference between standards and cures was that the standards didnt taper from the knee down to the leg opening as much as the cures. The fit on the thighs was similar for both. Looking at the picture I would say they are standards as they look quite straight legged.

apc message from facebook

Jean Touitou, founder of APC, is definitely back in the game. You can see him everywhere.
First is blogging again in English and in Japanese (even if I suspect someone to translate :p).
http://blog.honeyee.com/jean/
——————————

If you want more, you’ll have more with interviews he gave.
In English, for Dazed Digital . Are you dying to know what Jean answers to questions like Stones or Beatles ? or Rock or disco? It’s there
http://dazeddigital.com/Fashion/article/2921/1/Jean_Touitou_of_APC_Hates_Rock_n_Roll

——————————
If you want to know where Jean eats profiterole (a French bakery, it’s delicious http://tinyurl.com/clhare ) and you do speak French, give a shot to a (real) interview he gave to l’express
http://www.lexpress.fr/styles/mode-beaute/mode/dans-l-univers-de-jean-touitou-fondateur-d-apc_747505.html

If wearing apc jean didn’t make you fluent in French, here’s few things he talked about :
APC is coming on Dover Street, London in June.
New shops in Paris soon (including the mysterious one in the 17st district)
And Supreme x APC this summer : 1 tee and 1 jean.

——————————
Why is Jean everywhere ?
Maybe because he is making the promotion of “I hate Rock’n Roll”, the section musical T-Shirt I was spamming you for the last months.

Last visual is out, it’s “Chateau Marmont”, an electronic band on Parisian label “Institubes” (TTC, Surkin, Bobmo),. They have a (very good) debut EP called Solar Apex and some sweet remixes out (Ladyhawk, Sebastien Tellier, Royksopp)
Of course, they are on Myspace
http://www.myspace.com/chateaumarmont

The 4 T-shirts will be available this Wednesday.

——————————
Alongside this, Stroke just announced “Extra leg” which is (I quote) “a garment accessory that allows you to really protect your pants when you ride your bike without looking like an idiot”. You can have it in raw denim, black or white and it’s made of APC denim.
It’s absolutely a delight idea and a necessary accessory in Paris with the Velib (our renting bike system). It’s currently out of stock due to it success but you can sign up to be sure to have one ASAP ☺.

that’s all, hope you liked it

Typical FUK hype Smiling Granted it looked good on a few members but funny when an item gets hyped that much that people just jump on it for the sake of it Laughing out loud

Coming soon to a classifieds near you, a la Corpus and Supra.

Does anyone know if any UK stockists are getting this? Not really willing to pay 18 euros for shipping.
Really wanna get the navy shorts and the madras shirt.

Same here. When I read it I thought it was a thing you wore on your crotch to stop the jeans rubbing on the seat
