Yeah B'ham Apple store in the bullring. He says it takes a few days there but if you're looking to purchase online theres 3 weeks wait.

whats the best app or way of watching films in lots of different formats ? transfered or tried to transfer 40 films direct from my laptop and it only recognises 4 of them. Also whats the best way to transfer films, i just dragged the files straight into movies in itunes.

VLC bro, you save the films through iTunes > Apps then scroll to the bottom.

EDIT: OplayerHD seems the best…

cheers. Any word on the jailbreak ? I really ant the djay app, (and a couple of other expensive ones) but have been holding out incase it happens soon.

Also, is there any way of sorting saved books in the ibooks (in PDF format) into folders ? got a load of books, but really, could do ith sud dividing them.

Movie Player is apparently better than OplayerHD

I use Plex personally, it is the best most slick/elegant movie player app i have ever used on my mac but only works for streaming. I have a jail broken apple tv 2 hooked up to my led tv, it has firecore ATV flash (black) installed and plex is a free app for it, i am able to stream full HD from my apple time capsule straight to it Smiling

Looks like a nicer interface than OPlayerHD, but does it allow WiFi transfers?

just opened my ipad 2. do i need it and what do i do with it? can i transfer files wirelessly without jailbreaking (i know theres no jailbreak for 2 yet)?

I'm not sure sorry, i say apparently as i don't get my iPad 2 until this Thursday Smiling

A work colleague told me about it today since he noticed VLC was removed from the app store, I will check with him tomorrow. I believe it most likely syncs through itunes though.

reading books on anything not e-ink is murder for your eyes

eBooks are all I use mine for. Should I trade it in for a Kindle? Can you use PDF downloads on those?

Mate kindles are great. If you really only use your Ipad for ebooks then definitely, much much better than normal screens and yes you can use pdfs.
