same thing, offering pick up for GJ only. saving of more than 100quid for models like ipad 3g 32gb and 64gb, so even after shipping etc. you are still saving at least 50gbp off uk retail. basically the bigger capacity you are getting, the greater the discount.

pm me if interested, GJ only.

Anyone sizing down because of the cloud? Thinking I might get a 32 instead of 64 as you can store films and stuff and download when you want?

Got my iPad the other day. In need of a case as I'm worried about dropping it & it breaking in my bag. Don't really want anything bulky and oversized. Can anyone recommend anything?

MoB wrote: If i'm watching a film in bed it's more comfortable to watch it on the iPad, plus i prefer to browse the web on the air rather than the iPad as web browsing on the iPad pisses me off.
Wassup with this then, MoB?

Looing at getting the 3 but interested to hear why browsing grates so much.

go into apple and try it cos i know homer prefers his iPad to his macbook. it wil improve the more sites that are iPad compatible but the air's so light anyway and there's hardly any difference. To be able to sit on your lap makes it better for me too.

Yeah, I've given it a go in store but obviously nothing can replicate the day to day use that it's gonna get in the real world. Interesting to get 'real life' feedback - cheers Cool

saying that the magazine reading on it is Jawdropping! i know you shouldn't pay £400 for a magazine reader but national geographic, GQ and economist on the iPad are all amazing.

Flipboard, Zite, Notes, Goodreader

It all depends what you want to do really with it, I use mine for music/reading books.

'film on' to watch tv on. dont have to wait for adverts (before you can watch like on itv player etc).
