Kind of stuff you looking for? Have a look at audio emotion. Great prices on preowned gear.

Having read this thread and done some looking I actually would like some sony es kit. eBay does provide a good selection of stuff, but I was wondering whether to look elsewhere. I have Roksan kandy stuff for the main Hifi but I'm looking for stuff to go with a TV in a flat. Currently have kef q35.2s which I like but I need a CD player and new amp to replace an ancient NAD amp I have that's started setting on fire. I'll keep looking around for es stuff, not sure if the quality will be apparent through the kefs especially with the volume restrictions that come with being in a flat.

think I've found a possibility:

thinking of adding a turntable to a dac-v1 or unitiqute 2 set up, minimal footprint etc.

anyone know if these are decent turntables? anything out there that look nice with more pitch control?

The Charisma or the Cenya maybe? I have the Rebel 2 with the Chara (no longer made I don't think). Really great speakers.

Not scandi looking but very simple/functional design. The older models have a different look and are perhaps worth looking out for too. I had the SCM40's and they were ridiculously good.

Dali and PMC also make nice clean looking speakers.

Can anyone recommend a pair of speakers around £100 to £150 or so to go with a Denon mini system?

I have these available to me with a discount as part of a bundle:

Monitor Audio BX1 (£130)
Monitor Audio MR1 (£120)
Monitor Audio BX2 (£120)
Q Acoustics 2010i (£90)
Q Acoustics 2020 (£110)
Q Acoustics 3010 (£100)
Q Acoustics 3020 (£140)
Wharfedale Diamond 220 (£170)

If anyone has any opinions on those that would be great, but any other recommendations would also be welcome.

ps - since the repayments on the Porsche are quite steep I don't really want to exceed my budget for the speakers.
