Well the strap is just attached to a brass attachment that is fitted to the bag and would be a shame to get rid as the leather's taking on a nice appearance.

Outlet in Bicester has some gorgeous satchels and messengers for £200-270, last you for ever and only loook better with age.

my sis went last weekend and got a mulberry bag that was originally down from £450 to £225, and then had half off that again, so £112.50..

not sure if that was just for the bank holiday weekend but it could definitely be worth a trip..

Yeah new project. Few people have spotted some glaring mistakes which is quite embarrassing. Need to be more thorough when it comes to proof reading.

Oh yeah, no it was me missing something, the blatantly obviously apparently. Is it evil? My girlfriend said she liked it and I was going to buy it for her with her Christmas presents. I need to buy her some nice stuff, but I'm rather poor at the moment. I may have to sell all my clothes.

maybe it isn't evil, maybe it's just not to my taste. i'd probably like it if it was just in one colour, and didn't have that zip, but the finish looks a bit rough tbh.

anyhoo, if she likes it, you should get it. when it comes to bags (and shoes, and jewellery, etc), you should always buy pre-approved goods Smiling

Smiling Tell me about it, I've had my ears wide open recently for her 'covert' hint drops, which have been plentiful.

too true,
if you're gonna spend 500 on a bag i wouldn't want a mulberry one, might as well add a couple of hundreds and get a swaine adeney brigg or some real lux wank stuff like that without any brandidng that atleast in theory will last you a lifetime..

I pretty sure the website has a good reduction too at some point.
