You say that but then a buckle or zip breaks and then your stuck with a broken bag.

Any recommendations for good backpacks? Max price about 250 but would rather spend a lot less than that.

No amount of money will stop you looking like a German exchange student.

Keep backpacks for festivals, camping trips and traveling.

Laughing out loud no problem looking like a student as it's actually just for uni. Would like something more comfortable for carrying laptop + books each day with room for more.

I think Herschel are nice backpacks, Well made and comfortable.
I've got a 'little America' which has got a built in laptop sleeve and plenty of room for books etc.
Loads of colours available too.

Anyone seen any nice rope duffle bags around? Something like this APC effort from a bit ago.

Leather carry handle tore off at the seam, had asos bags last 5 times longer.

I can send it to america - at my cost both ways, as well as import fees - to get it evaluated by filson. Super, because after spending £250 on a bag where the handle falls off what I really want to be doing is spending more money on it

Bad crack that. Badger the fuck out of them!

Pretty general request.

If I spent that much on a new backpack it would prolly be a Mystery Ranch but it all depends on your interests..
