I guess it depends on what looks you like. Mystery Ranch has that 21st century tactical look, Gregory is more classic outdoors stuff. I know I bought the Day and a Half based on clean good looks.

..and that big logo tag..think I was the only kid in Australia with one back then. Black on black one..I remember in Chinatown I saw this girl with a choc chip camo Day Half. Almost broke my neck. Wanted one for years after that, never found one..

I also know it will fit a laptop and gym gear easily.

Looking for a decent backpack with compression straps. Preferably black, perhaps a north face one.
Inspiration?

Battenwear would be perfect cracka, just don’t like the material it’s made from.

This is nice but £115!

Got a new job and wouldn't mind a workbag. Either black leather or some sort of material is fine, as long as it's not shiny.
Nicest one I've seen is this;
https://www.allsaints.com/men/bags/allsaints-hayes-workbag/?colour=5&category;=316

but fuck paying that. ideally want to spend £100 max.
a removable shoulder strap would be great too.

any ideas?

Bought my old man a suede Osprey 'satchel' style bag recently from their outlet store for just under a ton. Was really surprised at the quality.

They've deffo had similar to the above in store - if you can find something that's suitable on their website I'll happily check their outlet out for you to see if it's knocked down, Jords.

Where's the outlet store? I was thinking about heading up to Bicester to have a look around for something.
But yeah, that'll be great, as long as it's similar to the all saints one above, just want something very plain. It's only to chuck in my lunch and laptop.
