My filson rucksack handle tore off where it attached to bag, piece of rubbish. Got it repaired by them but never again. It's also fairly annoying as a bag since there are no internal compartments, so it's just a sack of your stuff, and the front pockets are very pickpocketable, so your valuables end up right at the bottom of the sack compartment or stolen. Not to mention faffing around with the buckles just to close it.

Noone asked for it, but there's my review of this overpriced piece of rubbish: https://www.filson.com/uk/rugged-twill-rucksack.html

Based on this item, I would never recommend purchasing filson.

Fair point. I got a cheaper twill day pack as it has a full zip but just a button stud on the flap. Has a laptop section but otherwise an annoying lack of internal pockets.

I have both the briefcase and rucksack and love both but FWIW I don't use the backpack for work. The lack of internal org doesn't really matter for me as a result, but definitely one of the most versatile looking bags I own. Doesn't scream nankid when you're wearing it on weekends, and like the back sleeve pocket for keeping a scarf, kindle, book etc.
