In the market for a new work laptop bag, I bought my last one 5 years ago and is still going. There's a tear in the over the shoulder strap which looks likely to end its service soon.

What are people reppin'? Current is an unbranded Mulberry.

Would imagine this Filson would take some abuse, nice and simple and £60 with code fil40.

I think the non-classic twill Filson stuff is a bit of a waste of time and massively overpriced.

I rate these daypacks

Anyone ever had a Porter daypack and can vouch for the quality? Looking for a backpack that I'll keep forever. Didn't Mil always swear by Porter stuff?

TBH I love Porter stuff, have an overnight bag and a duffle but it's not worth the retail price. Construction is great but it's missing organisation features that cheaper bags have.

I'm currently a fan of Aer's stuff

London Undercover is a UK stockists of their bags.

I had a tanker, they’re quite shiny and I thought looked stupid honestly

Porter stuff is good quality but if you want a backpack that lasts a lifetime go for a Goruck GR1. Lifetime guarantee and absolutely bombproof. One of the best purchases I ever made.

EU or US retail is shit compared to the JP one.

Still in the market from a laptop bag. Currently circling Coach of all things - the less lairy and unbranded ones. This one is in the sale under Yoox womens.

Looks good that. Discreet and nice grained leather. At work top management types usually carry around a beaten Mulberry leather. European bigwigs cart around Tumi's. Other brands that I've looked at in the past are Mandarina Duck or on the lux side Montblanc or Ferragamo.

Yeah I'm in Korea which is a better deal. The day pack is around £290 in stores here which seems a bit more reasonable.

I’ve had the Porter helmet bag Tanker for about 5 years; rock solid even after pretty much daily use.

Sweet. I must be top management material already, I should stay put.

These are excellent quality, albeit Tumi is perhaps a better, more conservative option

Anyone know where I can find/or have a spare Filson padlock key (even just to remove them)? I have two on a Outfitter bag that I’d like to take off kindly, rather than with bolt croppers Smiling
