Tapas 24

Anyone have any comments on the above?

tried to go at tickets at NY but was closed…seems like a bit of a long winded way to eat but heard incredible things about it…

Just booked a dinner reservation for a table of 2 at Tickets. Reservations open up online at 12AM (local time in Barcelona) for 60 days in advance, I only had to provide my name, mobile and email address.

I think the problem with their reservation system is that they don't ask for credit card details, so it attracts a lot of "window shoppers". Having said that, it's not a foolproof system, because as long as you cancel within 48 hours before the day of the reservation you won't be penalised.

EDIT: Just had a look to see what's available after 10 minutes of it being open, it looks like there's only two time slots left !

On a side note, I thought about 41 Degrees, but I didn't like the idea of dropping 200 euros on just Tapas…

'fool proof'. Not being a pedant, just letting you know in case you didnt know. Cos its one of them easy ones to get wrong forever.

Ta, it was late and wasn't thinking straight. However, if we're being really pedantic. It's foolproof. Fool proof is the American spelling Eye-wink

As to way you eat, I've only read about being advised not to go for the surprise menu, where they choose what you eat and serve you until you say stop. Instead to order off the menu.

Shiggy, I just thought, are we talking about the same restaurant? Laughing out loud I'm talking about http://www.ticketsbar.es/ that was opened up by Ferran Adria and his brother, the guys behind El Bulli.

Anywhere cheap but decent to eat that can be booked in advance for a group of 10? Dont want to end up in a tourist trap or waiting an age. Staying near Balmes.

As to beaches they're pretty endless round there, we didn't stray far from town and it was quiet.

Sorry mate she can't remember what it's called Laughing out loud looking at google I think it might have been La Guineu, either way it's good for a cheap tapas lunch/great sangria, funny family place, wouldn't go there for dinner though. Went back to bcn in the eve so don't really know about the topper restaurants.

Can anyone recommend some good electronic clubs to go out and have a nice time? Prefer something less touristy with good DJs and long opened (afterhour?) Will be there from 27-30.06, so if anyone could help me out would be much appreciated!

Staying in Sant Marti so if anyone knows something nice to eat and do close by would be great aswell! cheers
