You be lucky and that customs just passes your package, it has happened before once but not to me but a guy who I worked for in the studio. Ordered a $250 print and didn't get busted.

wastemans £150 order will no be £250 odd. and be held up by parcelforce for weeks as well… fact.

how come? my mate just bought some $2000 ear rings (marked as full price) and he only got charged £100!

I doubt that was all customs charges. You probably got ripped off by whoever handled the package in the UK. Customs will charge you 17.5% (VAT) + whatever the duty is on the goods ordered (different % for different goods). I can't see it being more than 10% so on £300 it should be no more than £90 (including handling charges)

Yeah I was given the riot act by Parcel Force when I asked them how they managed to come up with the magical figure. Anyway I didn't get it but I blew the fees anyway since I got the Kaws for a good price though by the end of it it costed probably more…gah

Had about 5 posts now from Ebay that still have a week to go? So surely the chances are its probably not going to be a bargain (apart from the EIO top above, as EIO never gets bids on Ebay)
