^ fully size down on red wings I think, definitely applies to the chukkas/876s

General consensus is a full size down unless you've got fat feet.

Owned chukkas, round toes & mocs and found that chukkas and round toes fit pretty similar, can be quite narrow and I found going a full size down was far too uncomfortable.

Ideas about what? If they fit then there's no problem is there?

They're an 8, but you're saying you're a 10 and they fit?

weirdly yes they seem to, just gonna wear them around the house for a bit.
Im usually a 10 in clerks originals, 9 in Grensons Boots (G width) so these are either hugely sized or my feet are withering away

scrap the above, feet were fucking freezing and numb, after 10 mins of wearing the whole 2 size down thing isnt working for me.
unsurprisingly ive been cunted off by USC
they are going to try and exchange for me, if not I will offer them here at cost (£91) or knock them the fuck back.

try taking out the insole and see if theyre good? note that even if you got the right size they'd be uncomfortable as fuck for the first few wears, before 'becoming the comfiest shoes you'll ever wear'.

I still havent hit that stage yet after 6 months Laughing out loud

Gotta agree with roophees. Once you broke them in they will become a bit bigger and stretch quite a bit.
If they fit but feel just a tad snug they will fit perfectly after a few months of wear Laughing out loud

Redwings don't even come with a proper insole, taking them out would be rough. Better to get a bigger size and put a nicer insole on top as well.

I only ever wear RW Chukkas with aftermarket insoles and thick socks - still find them uncomfortable even then. Had to batter the heel counters to soften them up as I was still getting blisters long after they should have been broken in. Boggles my mind when I see people (especially the too cool for socks crew) saying they're the comfiest shoes they own.

I'm guessing the moron that was packing up the orders was just going by the (US) numbers on the box.

all my RW have been comfortable straight out of the box.

you lot must have nan-kid feet - don't ever try stussy x timberland loafers or sebago docksides without socks or your feet will disintegrate Laughing out loud
