but that's sort of like saying you should throw out DVDs when you've watched them once.

my last external hardrive died not so long ago and i hadn't backed the twat up because i figured all d/l stuff is throwaway, but now all those files are gone i miss them. lost loads of films, all episodes of deadwood, lost, etc.

keep the films you'll watch again like top gun, airplane, blazing saddles etc but delete all the shit you've watched and weren't bothered about. women are kleptomaniacs by nature so i cant blame you for how you are.

bloody lost! it's shit Eye-wink

Then I'd recommend try find one of the last TH42-PX80 Panasonic Plasmas if you can get it cheap enough or look at the panasonic TXP42X10B which is it's replacement.

Sounds stupid, but you tried shaking it. One of mine got the click of death and I had a little tantrum with it and it started working again.

I have an image of rorschach doing his thing on a hard drive, it's mental funny

Being able to store images at full res (incase you want to print anything etc), films, rip cds in a decent format and/or bit rate, software in case everything goes wrong (had to re-downlaod drivers, programs etc before and it's a bastard), cracked software, old work and notes..

oh and porn. fuckin loads of it

nope not yet. reading recent reviews and viewing set myself plasma is still the way to go for larger screens. I bought a panasonic last week.

Screen burn? Never had a plasma, so never experienced it, but guys I lived with in the summer seemed to think it was a good reason not to go the plasma route. It still a problem?

nope it's not. just be careful for the first 200 hrs (50% brightness, contrast) as the screen runs in… well that's the advice I've read anyway. They may retain an imagine if it's been static for a long time but once turned off it dissipates. Plasma is best for colours, blacks and fast moving images so sports etc.
