Watched this last night, decent doc….footage of Lebron etc in high school

http://www.lennycookemovie.com/

In 2001, Lenny Cooke was the most hyped high school basketball player in the country, ranked above future greats LeBron James, Amar’e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony. A decade later, Lenny has never played a minute in the NBA. In this quintessentially American documentary, filmmaking brothers Joshua and Benny Safdie track the unfulfilled destiny of a man for whom superstardom was only just out of reach.

Yep, would be nice for Duncan/Ginobilli/Parker - still can't help rooting for LeBron though. Spurs play much better basketball, I wouldn't want to put big money on either team.

lebron warmed up in yeezy 2s last night and spo was in Jordans at shoot around. Lebron warming up in Yeezy's looked redic though.

Want Miami to take it. Ideally wanted KD vs LBJ to go toe to toe in the final though.

Anyone like the lil penny foams?

Used to watch it before bed every night when I was in school. Such a good docu-film.

I definitely recommend watching hoop dreams before anyone chooses to watch Gunnin' for that number 1 shot and also more than a game.

Agreed on Hoop Dreams. 'Doin' it in the Park' also a decent watch and the ESPN film Reggie versus the Knicks. In fact loads of the ESPN 30 for 30 films are decent - well worth picking up the box sets or downloading.
