Thanks for the recommendations, had a blast. Went to prince Charles and about blank in the night and day. The day party was awesome. Tried the barn for excellent coffee and went to volt for an excellent dinner. Also hit the flea market on Sunday which I would recommend

Sunday evening at about blank was definitely the highlight for me, marcellus Pittman dropping house, acid and disco.

Any recommendations for cheap/'different' places to eat in the day and into the evening?

Don't know whereabouts you're staying but we stayed on Kastanienallee and it was littered with cool little restaurants. Few good Vietnamese places, a great Veggie Indian and a Falafel place. Decent beer garden on the same road as well.
Some good clothes shops as well.

They're pretty obvious choices but Burgermeister is a good, quick, cheap munch in a convenient spot & 'Henne' is good but simple - just good beers, potato salad, sauerkraut and chicken that's 10/10

I stayed in Berlin for a year and will concur it's a decent spot with a ton of decent places to eat and drink, but the guy above has called it correct shouting out Henne. I have to +1.

If you want cheap best Döner is Imren Grill.
You can also get more "classy" turkish food if you plan to sit there.

Bit of a long shot but here goes, is anyone here from Berlin or lived there for a while ?
Im hopefully going for my birthday later this month. But in typical fashion my mates and I did everything very last minute. Since we started planning the tickets to Fat Freddys on the 23rd have now sold out, so does anyone know any German websites that might be reselling tickets? Or any ways to possibly source a ticket?
Any help would be appreciated, cheers

Just to add to this, thanks for all the suggestions. Didn't really make it to any of them apart from Burgermeister as we stumbled past it. Ate at quite a few places, some really good(Tapas y Mas near Spittlemarkt, Tomasi Villa in Kreuzberg, East London Cafe for breakfast and all the small street stands and Kebab places) , some not so imo (Seoul Kitchen/Hirsch). Had drinks mainly around Friedrichshain and managed to get ourselves into The Berghain.
Love the city.

Sounds amazing. I'll be honest, I've been to Berlin over 10 times and have never bothered with Berghain simply because we've always been in large groups and if someone doesn't get it all it fucks it. Even when i was there last time just my girl, we ended up in Kater Blau and couldn't be arsed leaving for the same reasons but also because it was fucking good in there. Just seemed a little pointless to leave a good club to join a 2hr queue with a 50/50 chance of getting jogged on.
I'll give it a go one day as i've only heard good things but that door policy seems to go against everything Berlin is about. Sadly a lot of clubs have followed suit in recent years but their clubbing tourism is through the roof so perhaps that's fair.
Need to go back again soon! Love the gaff

Yeah I can see that, we chanced it at the very start of he night, got in he queue at 11:30 and was in at 12:30. When we left the queue was bigger than the one we was in. The door policy is proper random too. So perfectly 'normal' looking people were knocked back. My wife clocked the were asking how many? So she just replied zwei and there was about 10 seconds that felt like ages before Sven gave the nod. Once in there the search was shot and all they cared about was covering your phone with a load of stickers.
In the cloakroom queue loads of people got changed into just adidas shorts and vest tops with dr martens and skin heads which was mad to see. Whilst on the queue to try and send my mates a picture I loaded the camera straight from whatsapp and the flash went off although it was off normally. That was a proper touristy moment but managed to not get caught. Was cheap and really really good.
