Does anyone have the latest superfuture guide. I've helped a few fuckers out on here with recent guides to other cities so would be nice if the favour was returned. Cheers.

Cheapish hotel/hostel recommendations?

Think we want to be around Kreuzberg

I've stayed at Hostel Pegasus in Friedrichshain (which is close by) in the past with mates. If you just wqnt somewhere to crash its cheap, clean, had a bar and terrace and you seemed to be able get bratwurst at any time of the day

Grand Hostel Berlin is excellent. Very clean rooms, good facilities, nice bar downstairs in the lobby, safety deposit boxes etc and the staff are very friendly. Also there's a u-bahn station right across the river from it so very accessible.

If there's a few of you, get an Airbnb. Cheap as chips over there & you'll have a whole apartment not some shitty hostel or innocuous hotel.

Going next month for 5 days. Not been for a few years. Any bars, coffee spots and restaurants that are must dos (beyond the obvious stuff like The Bird, The Barn etc).

Also can anyone recommend any good, small techno/house clubs. I'm not arsed about queuing for Berghain and possibly getting turned away. I'm no connoisseur, just want somewhere small, without a bullshit door policy that plays stuff like:

Paloma Bar is pretty low key and nice.

Prince Charles is good too and you can get tickets for some things in advance. Swerve the whole door issues.

Arena club/Golden Gate/ About blank are all great but you will have to deal with the door. Its easier than Berghain though. Just make sure you know who's on.

No offense but with the exception of about blank the above suggestions are pretty terrible. Swerve arena and especially prince Charles.

Griessmühle, hoppetosse, renate, about blank, and club der visonäre in the daytime/early evening if it's stil going through from the night before and the weather is goo

Bonanza opened up a new roastery/cafe last month in xberg that is beautiful and has a huge open courtyard outside, hasn't ever been too busy the times I've been yet. Fenster coffee is fairly new I think and is on a nice spot jus behind schleisiches tor to sit outside and chill.

Madang do the best Korean / bibimbap in the city imo. It's a really traditional family owned place so a million miles away from the style of most of the places I visit, which I find nice. Usually need to book though for eek ends or evenings.

Pm me if you want more specific suggestions for restaurants etc. where abouts are you staying?
