Tried loads, my go-to’s now are Lacoste. The shape, fit and material are all perfect. Can always be found on sale somewhere too.

Airism shorts preferable over cotton, for hot and humid weather? A damp butt isn't great but I can imagine synthetics and sweat introducing a whole new set of problems, namely eye-watering odour.

yeah maybe if you are doing exercise or slogging it out down in the pig pen.. maybe good if you are overweight so end up quite sweaty doing day-to-day things. for normal use I just don't see the point in grating your penis with that awful plastic mesh
