Yeah, I second this. Plus I asked one of the guys in there if they stocked BoO, and he looked at me as if I just asked him if his mum was free tonight

What's that place that used to be on floral street that closed down? Used to spend bare cash in there back in the day and the bald cunt with the flat cap used to always just stare. Cry

+1 to garbstore instore, quality friendly service, good ambient temperature, too bad the clothing fits like a sack on me.

I've always thought Number Six in Brick Lane was pretty decent, used to be When We Were Casuals? Good stock of brands, good layout and the staff are helpful.

Yup, safe to say my shopping experience didn't last too long in that establishment.

everyones entitled to there opinions. and forums will always be place for them, and discussion. i dont really have the time to post as much as i used to, but still read and drop in ever so often, but still love the community and banter on here.

as ive said to many fukers that have messaged me on here asking for holds and special orders since weve been open, and its been a few, they are more than welcome to a coffee on house, and a chat when they drop by.
plus when the webstore gets more momentum there will be a fuk only discount swinging this way, as there has been great support from both online and in store.

I always enjoy popping into Hanon Shop when I have the chance. It's not as exciting as when I first found the place in 2002 but very few things are tbh. Good sense of community especially for the parties they put on for their New Balance shoes and the Adidas 35th launches. I think they've done similiar things more recently too.

W2 store in Glasgow is nice to visit as well. The chap who works at/ owns the place (David I think) was quite happy to take time and discuss the items in the store.

Go round the corner to Start and you get the other extreme. My flatmate worked there years ago as the first cutomer assitant and staff were encouraged then just as they obviously are now to really suffocate customers to get sales. Plus apart from the decent denim selection for an indie shop, the buys are so mediocre and 'nice' I think it's just for the moneyed thirty-somethings who don't really know what to buy other than something that will let them fit in with the East London crowd. And that woman in the other shop from The Fall is busy chasing her celebrity status.

have found start friendly even though I've never bought in there. as for another poster, I think Brix Smith and her bloke (who used to own 80's/90's destination store Woodhouse), own the Start stores.
