not a fan of the hideout staff, and they could do with more extensive collections

Had a look in the new Oi-Polloi this after. Good, but not as cosy as the original. Its also in a prime position on Thomas Street and I recon it'll get rinsed by the regular general public.

If staff don't say hello or talk to me then I don't really notice them, so haven't really had a 'bad' experience in-store, I'm far more interested in the clothes.
However those that have been good store experiences in London recently are albam, hideout, and wholesome. I've mentioned it before but when I was up in Newcastle and Sunderland a while back I had a really good shop in End and Eleven and rate them as my two bests.
Don't know if it's independent anymore, but the dpmhi store was ridiculously cool, which is irrelevant apart from that alot of the staff have moved over to the Floral street Maharishi store making it both a really nice spot, with the new added bonus of pretty good customer service.

Dsm have always been helpful, whenever I've been in there. Also, I know it doesn't strictly fit this category but apc on Dover street are really nice and friendly, especially one of the birds in there.

The nice South African girl who works at apc, is offensively fit.

1. Oi Polloi
2. Albam
Twice I've been to Present and twice the customer service appears to be stare until they leave approach, don't get half the shop being candles and don't understand why BBC is in there. Do like the look of the store and everything non-candle & non-BBC tho. Sorry Font

So what have we learned? Hot women are hot, and Present is a slightly misleading name for a store.

Why is dsm being mentioned on here? Its far from independent…

That Present knit looks nice, shame they don't do smaller sizes.
