I did a clean install, so I formatted my drive completely - wasn't anything on there worth keeping as everything I need/want is backed up on an external Harddrive.

I've just had it install for like 15 minutes so it's hard to say. The aesthetics have changed, that's the most obvious difference from Tiger and Leopard… I'm sure Guffer could give you more of an insight. Will report back later tonight once I've had a proper play around.

I used to go to the hi-fi show every year , flippin loved it but hated how every exhibitor except Cerwin Vega! had the volumes down low Laughing out loud

best : My secret santa, need to have a proper think about what to get

Worst : Lost my key, at a mates, and have a booty call coming round later on, dunno how thats gonna work without a bed

Best: MA results which I've been worrying about for weeks arrived in the post this morning. Got a Distinction.

Worst: Can't afford to do a PhD. Other mail was a rejection letter for a Waterstones job I'd just interviewed for.

Feels good to finally have something to show for all the work.

Off out into town in a bit to start celebrating properly, then out again in Liverpool tomorrow, so should be a good weekend.

good effort trystero. have you approached the research councils about funding for your phd? i've just had my phd funding application published, gimme a shout if you want any advice or wotnot.

Better: just going out for a bite to celebrate

Worst: got her best friend coming along too, riveting conversation ensured. Ah well, plenty of gossip on how crap he was in the sack etc Laughing out loud
