what you get if you go into a major is a stock hairdo that every other RUSH/T&G in the country do but they charge you a premium for their location/decor.

Potentially, but I don't think I've ever said to a hairdresser in various T+Gs or other places 'do you what you think looks good'. Then you'd be asking for trouble.

Worst thing about the big places is the rip-off pricing tiers they dream up. This girl I used to have a few years ago at T+G got 'promoted' in between my visits and they decided that they would now charge me £32 instead of £25.

Similar question: If you went for a massage, guaranteed same quality etc - would you rather it done by a rotter in a dingy room/your own house, or pay another few quid and let it be done in a nice place by a well-turned out lady, surrounded by lots of other similar hotness.

Bottom one every time right?

Costs me over a ton each time I go to the hairdressers.. But, that is standard when it comes to girls hair..

Does make you feel much safer when you're in a nice place, with nice decor etc.

what do you actually know about hairdressing ,where they train etc ? fuck all i bet ,its something for once on here i know more then you cunts about my missus is better trained then 90% of hairdressers and most of them after college go on the exact same training courses for creative cuts etc

Alright, don't get your knickers in a twist!

If your missus is so highly trained, why would she want to work in a low end, pikey looking hairdressers?
Surely if she worked somewhere nicer she'd get paid/tipped more?

its local and she does not have to worry about money plus she only does 3 days a week , she is also there training manager for the south east which she enjoys.

The only way you make proper doh as a stylist is a rent a chair job in mayfair etc they all get the same wage in nearly every salon ..she still gets 40-50£ a day tips which aint bad.

Yea, it was because she had hair extensions with "ethically sourced" human hair. She doesn't do it any more though, she had a kid.

werd. if a million people see you in a week, 99.9% of them will look at your hair and not your shoes.

double werd, pay £35 in Cornwall but that may explain why I only seem to get it done bi-annually Laughing out loud

Bi-annually? You are either crystal maze dude or Andrew WK.

Ive known girls who were wearing £500 dresses and £800 shoes but who didnt have any money for a coffee because its their parents who are rich and theyd spent their allowance already.
If she has her own money then treat it like any other bird, you take her out yeah but dont kill yourself over it.

Then she's not rich, her parents are just well off. Rich kids never run out of allowance.

best thing about hairdressers is the receptionists and every other fit bird cutting hair around you that you can look at in the mirrors when you are bored.. i love the atmosphere aswell when its a mega busy period.. still don't know if i should shut my eyes or not while i'm getting my hair washed though Laughing out loud

i go to the place on deansgate opposite the living room

i don't know if i'd like anyone else to do my hair, its like once you've found one your alright with then stick with it.

Best: Passed my driving test, with only four minors aswell.
Worst: Insurance prices are ridiculous and my diabetes only bumps them up more. Managed to find an alright quote though and just had to go for it.
