just as easy to do but requires sometimes a more expensive piece of software to do so. most likely the guys in phone repair shop looking for wank fodder can recover some stuff from iphones etc as some software is available free but anything on an SSD drive that has been overwitten in a sophisticated way needs bespoke software to recover it.
Having a UK leading data recovery expert in the family and 'innocently' questioning him over dinner im told that absolutely nothing on any media format however many times overwritten is ever beyond restoration to enough definition to become incriminating.

I had a look for them but no joy mate, I wouldn't know under what file extension the contacts would be under.
Might be best off copying the whole lot off the phone onto the desktop for now?

Should do yeah, right-click delete jobbie on the ANDRO or DCIM folder.

Noble, did you select "Import SIM Contacts" under "Settings" on the iPhone?

Would never happen in the uk. Its their biggest weapon in fighting crime. They even nick people over just phone calls about crime or your signal being somewhere something went down at the time.
