yeh, very much so. Applied for a couple of things on Thursday, and 6 more today. Got 2 interview in the week etc.
I also hated my job so makes me happy ha
I am going to now be skint for the next 2 years, but I'd rather be happy and skint than comfortable and fed up every 9-5!

Best.. I wasn't up at 4am this morning and won't be spending the day looking for the neighbours of cunts that order shit online and can't be fucked to stay in or leave a note out. Nothing worse than waking poor fuckers up to ask if they'll take a parcel in when you can tell they hate their neighbour and never ever speak to them.
Worst.. Nothing. Apart from not having a job.

Cheers mate. Few weeks off before anything else. No concrete plans but that was the idea. No point when you're in a franchise contract as if I'd got a meeting or interview it would have cost be about £350 for not turning up at the yard (£150 fine for not supplying a service and £200 is roughly a days earnings).
I've got a few big ideas that are going to be risky and might come to nothing but I'm in a position where I can take that chance, no kids, wife's wage is enough for us to get by etc.
Could have earned big money over the next few months as a courier but it practically kills you, 200 drops a day flat out is a nasty day and that's without the rain and then snow and ice.

Grand a week sounds better than it is btw, that's gross and the van costs are pretty high.

Was gonna say 50k per annum to deliver parcels cant be too bad! Still must be decent with the overheads taken off. Hope you find something soon anyway mate.

Thats not decent money for that hard graft imo. So many risks in that job as well.

You know that. You are always waiting to be well and truly shafted with rates being slashed and route changes etc. industry is absolutely booming but it's gets worse and worse for the grafters.

I meant injuries, crashes and general driving points/fines being on the road that many hours a day under that much pressure as well mate.

Good/bold move Ruben, good luck with everything but you shouldn't have any probs.
