He can't mean that, otherwise you could just lump in gilts and forgot about it.

If you are doing had a million and increased it by a % a day, it would work out as £37.4 million. (When compounded)

with the state of the market and good luck you could make 1-2% per day.

You reckon you could make a 300% + annual return? If you could, you should be running a multi billion pound fund. Even Madoff's imagination didn't get there.

you dont win every day, in fact statistics show that forex day trading by individuals generally end in failure. But if you won every day on the big 4 exchanges you could have massive results. More fun than the lottery.

All the bollocks out there says 1 -1.5% gains per day are possible.

I dont really gamble and private traders dont have the metrics or information the banks have so its all a waste of time.

No investor is returning 1% a day in any sort of long run.

You can make 1% a day, but you've got to be from the future.

Markets are volatile as fuck at the moment. Though if you were a sick bastard, you could make a sh*t load going short on blue-chip stocks.

I've got a simulator portfolio running, and i'm beating the markets by a couple of % per week, but still making small losses.

Shorting's generally not allowed ATM and has t been for a while has it?
France and Germany have banned and UK does sporadically. Naked shorting is wholly disallowed now also I think, which is where the traders made their killings before the financial crisis.

I think that shorting has only been banned for certain stocks, i.e Banks. - but I'm not entirely sure.

Wasn't aware they had completely shut down shorting and spread betting, so not sure.

Bresone : I run it on Investopedia. They also have a Forex simulator too. It's a good program, can do some good analysis
