High end restaurant? Pub type place? Budget? You and the Mrs or a group of lads?

The Church in the jewellery quarter was nice for a cheap lunch a few months back. Also the Lord Clifton is close by. In the same area I have eaten at The Drop Forge and The Rose Villa Tavern which are both good.

As above, Lord Clifden and Red Lion are good though a little bit out of the centre in JQ. OPM is worth it for a decent burger. Indian Brewing Co is cool for street food, Indian Streatery also getting good reviews but not been there. Purity Bar & Kitchen worth a visit, v good beer too.

Zindiya in Moseley
24 Carat Bistro
I love in Four Oaks which is the other side of Birmingham but there’s not many places worth trying.
The Old Speckled Hen
That’s about it.

If want something cheap and relatively central Pure Bar, OPM or Meat Shack. Rico Libra for tapas, down in digbeth but could also go digbeth dining club if on fri or sat. Ana Rocha, Rose Villa Tavern or Lord Clifden if in the Jewellery Quarter. Something a bit more pricey, Wilderness or Harborne Kitchen - this is one of the best places around at the moment.
