Actually remember my parka (from a sample sale) was really warm and pretty decent quality. still got both in a closet somewhere. obviously not woolrich quality but not ASOS quality either.

As an aside, worst quality item of clothing I have is an imitation N3B parka from J.Crew. Within one wear, buttons had fallen off and the nylon used is paper thin.

I know it's been happening for a while but Wtaps seems to really have lost its direction/identity. New stuff on End is pretty rank.

I see Gant Rugger has gone. Think that's a real shame as they did some nice stuff.

This has been a lot of what taps has been like the last decade:

Anything else is an improvement. I actually bought a few new issue items the last couple of years. It's not the same or as great as the old days but it shouldn't be the same, it's def aimed at todays youth, which is what it should be, rather than at aging scooter riding punks like Tet apparantly wanted to be for a while. Todays miltech wear just isn't as daily wear ready as the old 'Nam and '80s stuff that use to influence the designs. Small things like BDUs having elasticated cuffs and mad tapers just doesn't do it for me but it's for the kids. The MILL line is pretty cool looking tho, but it's still not wtaps MILSPEC, it's Ueno district disposals and repros

I see kappa all the time where I live. Urban outfitters pushed it really hard a few years ago

I had been buying quite a bit of WTAPS over the last couple of years until last year. decided far too old for it but more importantly the stuff was absolutely terrible.

I think classic plain items like the blank and design t shirts remain fine, as do the sweats but some of these other items, good grief.
