I remember it made London tonight news.
The bloke was based on the walworth road, got sued by NASA itself. Had to close down.

Cool story Cool

All the lads at school/college that thought they were cool but were actually the type to pick up 15 year olds in their 10 year old Fiesta, wore them

They're still have that fairly big shop on oxford circus! They also ran an advertising campaign last year that got a decent bit of press with some world leaders kissing each other. Still maintaining imo, maybe not as large

Benetton stuff is great for basics, shirts are cut really well.

It was around the same time as John Richmond , Nick Coleman etc … a UK designer that had tons of zips on his stuff and they all had the male 0-> ( no Prince ) hanging from the zip pulls … been driving me mental trying to remember his name

Signed up just to say that. Was huge. Every cunt in Hollyoaks wore it between about 1998 and 2002 - probably what killed it.

Used to have a concession in Selfridges, have been meaning for ages to check if it's still there.

Fuct is still about, not nearly as prolific as it once was though.

For those of you who can remember POP 84, I'm representing them here in the UK, the current collection can be found here http://www.pop84.com/ its still “made in Italy”. POP 84 vanished from the UK shores many years ago, but is returning, retail resellers welcome just send me a private message with your details.

Back to Energie, as a brand and a clothing retailer it still exists, doesn't it?

I know the stores in High St Kensington, on Carnaby street and Covent Garden are still open despite the economic downturn.

It also hasn't changed it's name to Miss Sixty Men - Miss Sixty was ALWAYS the female line and division of the same company - it hasn't beeen usurped or taken over. It exists in very much the same sense that it always did even though it doesn't appear to be as popular any more.

Still has a massive retail presence in Italy too. Some of the shops are quite lush.

Website still active too: http://www.energie.it/Index.aspx

Has 'Dupe' been mentioned ? Big with casuals in the early noughties.

Mandarina is a brilliant shout, had 2 of the jackets and they were 2 of my faves, shame they just went to luggage.
