Few alright bits round Park Street, Cooshti stocks Edwin, Redwing, Patagonia, Stussy etc. and there's a Kooples outlet that has the odd decent bit. The Harvey Nicks is a joke though, menswear section is about the size of a cupboard.

Had a nice chat with the guy in Hoko while I was there, great shop but seems like it's struggling a little with the Bristol market, exactly as we walked in some knob in red trousers was saying he can't believe it's still open

yeah scott is really sound, genuinely nice guy and knows his stuff. i think its a bit tough being in clifton too, as not many of the target audience would really just "walk past" and have a look. but saying that I cant really imagine the store in cabot circus or similar

Good bars for a group of 6 couples? Never been before, so no clue where to go. Seen a couple of places online that look alright (Urban Standard?) but would appreciate some fukers' wisdom

Also anywhere that'll be showing the Euros on Saturday night and any good breakfast spots

Staying in the city centre at Fusion Tower, so anywhere that has a decent buzz and good beers/cocktails.

Looking back through this thread it seems The Ox and Small Bar are fairly near, so anything alog those lines

Just adding to the list after spending a few days there -

Great pizzas at Bosco's in Clifton

If you're walking past St. Nicholas' Market and like brownies - get a salted caramel one from Ahh Toots. Best I've had.

Breakfast at No. 12 in Easton also really good.

As for Hoko - cool, but really tiny. If you're in the area then fair dos, but otherwise not worth the trek

best pizza in bristol is at flour and ash on cheltenham road. st nicholas market is very decent, eat-a-pita fresh falafel is really good too. but any of the stalls in there are awesome

schtoop I don't spend much time in the city centre (because it is shit) so honestly couldnt recommend a good place for breakfast. depends on where you are staying but there is a boston tea party on park street, and another on cheltenham road. cafe kino on stokes croft is a good vege breakfast (weirdly)
