I've been swept away on the FUK Hype Train numerous times but never EVER been tempted by the Liberty Calendar.

200 notes is fucking mental for some random shit that (regardless of saving) you wouldn't choose if you were walking around pushing a shopping trolley.

Buy her a Cadburys calendar and take her on a City break for a few nights instead.

100% agree Burt. I feel the same way about any giftsets/hampers. just full of TAT you'd never want anyway at an inflated price (similar to tkmaxx effect but the other way round). does explain why so many people on here are into them though

I'd never buy it if the duttying didn't cover it! Also have no moral qualms duttying to people who would buy a £160 calendar for almost twice that amount Laughing out loud

redistribution in action imo

I ask myself what would buying and presenting this £200 non-chocolate calendar on the first of December provide me? Probably nothing as I'm presented with a bag of tangfastics and a DVD from CEX from her every year.

Did 3 nights in Nicè recently for 300 bar. Obviously that doesn't include spends but if you're gonna pay 200 quid for a cally then an extra ton ain't gonna be issue.

Oh and if you've gotta spend 200 quid on a calendar to earn 'BJ points' then you're with the wrong Doris, Nigel.

Bought the wife the Liberty calender last two years, she loves it new present everyday for a month.
And the blokes on here saying they don’t get it, it’s not for blokes!! Don’t reckon any bird would turn that down as a pressie

It’s definately on the high-cost, low-effort side of things.

Come on Bert - it’s a silly comparison isn’t it!? Laughing out loud
I did Nice for three nights earlier this year in the off season and all in cost me at least a grand.

You maybe lucked out on super cheap flights and accommodation but when you consider taxis to and from the airport, three meals a day, drinks, day trips and Monte Carlo casino etc we are easily over the cost of a bit of slap Laughing out loud
