Yeah the edition is great, my favourite place to drink now when i'm feeling a bit flush. The punchroom is nice, been to a couple of things there.

Need to book a bar for my birthday, 20-30 people in central or east,
Any ideas? ideally want to book an area for free

Does it have to be a bar? Not more of a pub? The only 'bars' I've known that book out areas have been absolute shithouse. Was gonna suggest you book an area in a pub, say Hunter S, and walk down to the strip after.

Could be a lively pub that's open late

Don't bother , once you get over the gimmick in ain't all that.
How about the bar at l'anima if you want somewhere quieter ?

Woolpack or Garrison on Bermondsey Street?

Woolpack is better, more likely to get a table.

Ah I forgot about the miller, been there before when they had street kitchen hot dogs in, kooky place - great beer selection. Will go either there or the woolpack.
