Alchemist on New York St (Manchester) is cool. A lot better that its sister in Spinningfields. My ultimate new date place now. Shame I was by myself this time around
There’s been a lot of new openings recently, but none as yet take my fancy. Initially Gorilla was good but on the second visit, seems the staff are there just to high five each other and prioritise service for friends and colleagues of the other chains lending to a bit of a dickhead vibe. Can’t wait though for the two new bowling bars to open to open up and offer something different that Manchester has previously lacked.

Or wait. . . and with a little insider information. . . catch the Market Crash when every drink in the bar hits rock bottom (all beers for $2, all drinks $3, and even top shelf for $4)
