i was just baffled why you thought bins were a weird thing to have in a house?
totally staple piece of kit, the most important in the house according to a mr lagerfeld.
Its because you would need 3 different bins. One for recycling, one for food and one for the rest.
I just shove it all in the black bag and throw it in the communial one. Also as Noble pointed out they always stink the kitchen out

If you buy a decent bin ( & bin liners) the smell would not leak out..
You seriously have a grubby plastic tesco bag for your rubbish..?
So, you don't recycle either then?

Carrier bags have holes in the bottom though which is no good

i use the 10p m&s ones as a rule if the truth be known. only tesco ones when they run out. and ive never seen any holes in any of them. theres never nothing anywhere either.
and you dont leave them on show like some ornament, just tuck them in the corner where they cant be seen.
its the future.

Im living in a studio at the moment and the bin is about 5 meters away from my bed, fucking annoying. Might bin the bin and try Noble's carrier bag thing instead.

I think people on here using old supermarket bags in place of a good well designed dustbin is just odd as an interest in fashion should really extend to being interested in your interior design.
Its like having one of those shit wiggly ikea mirrors.
Fair enough if you are a student or want to save some money but I know thats really not the case with a lot of fukers. Invest in a well designed bin and good bin bags it will not smell and will make your kitchen.

hows it anywhere near the same……i just dont want a vessell in my house that holds shit apart from a toilet…if there was a bin you could flush, trust me id have the trendiest one money could buy.
