Any idea why my post from last night was deleted?

I deleted it, as it was littered with offensive undertones and led people to believe the item for sale was worth a lot more than it actually was. Fascist!

Something funny happening with my listing:

http://www.fuk.co.uk/threads/fs-cos-nudie-suit-1/

http://www.fuk.co.uk/threads/fs-cos-nudie-suit/

The one I accidentally posted in Menswear was deleted (fair, my fault) so I put a new one up in Classifieds, but now that's been deleted and the original listing re-instated…?

I deleted the post, as mods can't move threads (Fascist! Fascist! Fascist! Fascist!) - no idea how come the original listing is back up again… Brad?

That was me. I didn't notice that it was in Menswear rather than Classifieds so reinstated the original and deleted the new one, sorry Laughing out loud Oops

Aside from most of the spam disappearing the new system is a step back for mods, it's tricky to do much. Also as Noble pointed out the other day it's impossible to know if something in Moderation has ended up there because another mod has put it there or if it's accidentally been put there by the spam trap.

Haha no worries. Is it possible to reinstate the new one in Classifieds and delete the original one that was in the wrong place?

Brad will sort it, I've messaged him about it.

Unfortunately under the new system mods are powerless to move threads and the old one can't be reinstated (by a mod) because it's been deleted.

Is there a way to limit users to 1 sales thread at a time? It's really annoying when you click on latest threads and some dick has listed each piece of clothing as a new thread.

That's actually in the classifieds guidelines.

'Please make new threads for new sales. If you don't the search doesn't work right and longer threads slow the whole site down.'

think that just means don't continually edit the same one sales thread (like when people just update the title with completely new list of items every so often)

making a load of individual threads for single items is pointless and annoying
