England have just shown themselves up as pussies imo for going over to the Indian's and asking them to withdraw their decision over that Bell run out. Plus Bell is a spacker for even being in that position.

Really UnCouth? Should they have never knocked the bails off despite Morgan and both on field umpires treating the ball as still active, which is exactly what you should do. Bell was the only person that presumed it wasn't, and made such a schoolboy error, yet he's got away with it completely. If Bell had any class about him, he would have acknowledged that he was in the wrong and just taken it.

Bell heard the umpire call 'over/tea' hence the ball was declared dead. It was a sneaky thing to do and not in the spirit of the game, hence why they withdrew their appeal.

I think it was quite obvious to everyone that Bell wasn't heading off for a fourth run.

But from replay's it was called over after the bails were taken off, not before. So you really should play until the final whistle tbh.

I follow England around the world but where was the 'Spirit of the game' when Sidebottom knocked the NZ batsmen out and yet Collingwood claimed the run out still.

Use it to your advantage eh Eye-wink

Shouldn't have appealed, so the right decision in the end (especially after the umpires specifically asked the Indians if they were appealing). Regardless India look pretty shit and we're going to knock them down the world rankings.

In a Champions Trophy game against Sri Lanka, he called back Angelo Mathews who was given run out after a collision with Graham Onions, who was not in the wrong at all. Mathews added only one to his 51, and England went on to win by six wickets.
