Great, cheers. Seen some decent winter pairs similar to those, the castelli ones look decent but all are £120+

did my first significant ride on road bike on sat. 50 miles round the lakes, started with the kirkstone pass from bowness. punctured on the descent 8 miles in at 40mph. inexperienced rider, absolutely shit my pants when bike wobbled but luckily held on. quick fix. loved it, got the bug!

Wow, they fit well!

Have had the rapha classic winter tights for a couple of seasons and can't recommend them enough.

It's mostly for work really so they would probably do the job. Cheers.
Might trump up the cash for some better ones if I find myself going out more on longer rides at the weekend.

Which one did you get? Decent? Robust? My concern is it will just become another metric to train with…but I can see the benefits of having one.

i had the powertap sl+ - only really used it with trainer road for structured work outs (and you can get similar results with cadence and hrm)

doesn't really work for me out and about, like to look at the scenery rather than head down looking at data

if you get one make sure its ANT+ (i did buy the polar pedals but never used them, although they are doing an ANT+ version so i her)

think ill get one of these when they drop,
