Mate got this bike nicked the other day in Hulme, Manchester. Was locked to a metal bar fence with a kryptonite lock but they cut the fence. Looked like he was in bits about it so told him I'd post it here in case any Manchester heads spot it out and about. Think he said he's posted it on LFGSS too, but if on the off chance anyone on here sees it can you let me know please.

Wondering if I should get a lightweight packable rain jacket and a warm jersey or a jacket that does both jobs, any ideas? Got a reasonable budget, dont want to freeze my tits off again this winter..

something that looks decent as well would be a plus

Have a look at Montane's cycle-specific jackets. I've got one which is light enough to wear in summer and I just wear layers under it in winter. Unless it's really cold in which case I have a thicker Gore jacket.

I suppose it depends how much you feel the cold, and whether or not you want a jacket you can wear all year round.

I just wore a jersey and arm warmers last winter so anythings an improvement Laughing out loud

Think I will go for something thicker and I can wear it with just a base layer on milder days. What Gore jacket have you got?

Not sure of the model, it's years old. Just checked and it's actually a Shimano one not Gore anyway. Oops

Need a cheap stand for storing my bike in my flat. Just something for the short term before I get one of these - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cycloc-wall-mounted-bike-holder/

Seen this (http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_919591_langId_-1_categoryId_242557) which looks like it'll be ok, but anyone got anything else similar?

Or this at half the price http://www.decathlon.co.uk/sv-101-bike-stand-id_1263296.html

Anyone know the best place for buying helmets in London? East or central.
Need to be able to try on etc.

Also if they had a good range of clothing that would be cool too

Are SKS raceblades easy to fit? Will be on a Triban 5. Read enough on other forums to convince me that there will be enough clearance.
