Feel bad for him for wanting one, but my brother is after a front Aerospoke for a single speed he's building up.
Anyone got one they wanna shift or know where I can pick one up second hand? Black 700c machine side walled.
Cheers.

Thinking of getting some Fulcrum Quattro wheels as an upgrade for my Triban 5. Had been planning on getting a new bike altogether in the new year, but can't justify it now.

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/fulcrum-racing-quattro-lg-alloy-clincher-wheelset-2016/?lang=en&curr;=GBP&dest;=1&sku;=5360706509&ci;_src=18615224&ci;_sku=5360706509uk&utm;_source=google&utm;_term&utm;_campaign=UK_PLA_Components&utm;_medium=base&utm;_content=sxUPW3bRC_dm%7cpcrid%7c67090789142%7cpkw%7c%7cpmt%7c%7cprd%7c5360706509uk

Articles and reviews seem to suggest that a wheel upgrade would be pound-for-pound the best improvement for my existing setup. Anyone use/used these?

Only from PS as far as I know. Why not pick up a discounted Sky model and get a local paint shop to airbrush it? Would cost far less than 220 sheets.

How much does it cost to get a bike built up if you supply all the parts?
I'm thinking about buying a Mason Definition but the 105 mechanical disc is £2095!
You can buy the frame for £895 the wheels are £350 pretty cheap deda finishing kit and cheap fabric saddle, you can get a Full Ultegra groupset with Hydraulic breaks for £620 ok I've missed stuff of but I reckon even when upgrading to Ultegra with hydraulics you wouldn't be too far of that price. I know fuck all about building bikes though!

Mason Cool Never ridden one but they get rave reviews and look cool as fuck. I'd be all over the Definition if it wasn't disk only. Haven't come around to them at all yet.

It's unusual that you would be able to beat the factory build on price if you
did a like for like spec. You don't really have the economies available to you.

If I bought bikes with my head, I would have a Canyon. Unfortunately I can't get my heart off flair Italian whips. Hoping to pick this up in Spring.

I agree totally, I was looking at a Canyon the frame was around the same price as the Mason but the total build was 1400 with Ultegra and I couldn't get near it like for like, but have a look at the Mason spec's it would be like paying full blown rrp and a couple of of hundred for putting it together, doesn't add up.
