Think I'm gonna get one of these on C2W. Not the sleekest machine but my commute is barely a mile and the integrated lock and lights really appeal. So much less faff when parking in town.

Anyone have any experience with the brand? Reviews are few and far between.

sorry but that is fucking awful, it weighs 18kg??? a £10 bike would ride better and you could leave the lights on it and afford to lose them 100 times.

The weight is an issue. Can't believe they do a single-speed version.

How much does a Boris weigh?

I get the appeal of having integrated lights but im sure you can find a solution that attaches to a normal bike that wont get nicked. Also the lack of adjustability of the lights is a bit shit, im guessing they are not that bright either. I dont think the integrated lock would save any time either.

Oh and Evans have an extra 20% off code EASTER20 on clothing, shoes & helmets. Giro Synthe for just over a oner, they have the matte black in stock too. Some bargains on already discounted Castelli gear to be had.

Looking for a commuter bike for around £300.00. Have looked around and this seems the best bet:-

Has any used this bike and is this worth the money? Or could i get better on a low budget?

That was good, put £2 on Hayman when he was in the 10 man breakaway at 25/1 as well. Would have been nice for Cancellara to win it though.

How good was Sagan's bike handling?! Cool

in the same boat as Huckus. I'm based in central london, is the best option to look for a good second hand one on ebay / gumtree, or buy new? Are there any forums, similar to av, for bikes to buy/sell? cheers.

Unreal. In the footage you see Terpstra and other still stack it after Sagan hops over

I know next to nothing about road bikes but years ago when I was looking for a mountain bike on a budget I got a lot of bike for my money by buying a Merlin.

Maybe someone who's more up on road bikes can comment on whether or not that's a decent spec.

Some of Giro's attempts at Rapha-esque gear at the Maxx

http://www.tkmaxx.com/page/search?q=giro

I'm gonna give the rain jacket a try. Polartec Neoshell fabric which is top top stuff. Might try the 4-way stretch shorts too.

Don't hesitate to pull the trigger on this stuff. Keeping the shorts and rain jacket. Great fit and top quality. Shorts are tailored nicely enough to wear around town. Go with your usual size.
