Cant beat rapha merino imo.

I wear craft sleeveless coolmesh baselayers in summer, but nothing beats Rapha for the combination of comfort, warmth and wicking when the temp drops. 20% off at the mo too

Under Armour (non cycling specific) are decent for £15 - £20 if you don't want to drop Rapha $$$

Cosign for Craft coolmesh, I wear this with arm warmers in autumn rather than a long sleeve as it's more versatile

Can anyone recommend a decent front light. Dont really want to have to spend £100

Would mostly be for making me seen, but needs to be able to light up the road for ocassional stretches with no street lights.

I have this one:

Cant imagine you'd ever need anything brighter unless you're doing off-road night rides.

Wiggle doing it for 70 sheets now.

I just bought a Xeccon Spear 600, the brand is new to the UK but they are suposed to be decent, and cheap! 600 lume for £30 is as good as I could find, battery life seems good too. I got it here: https://retroroad.co.uk/products/xeccon-spear-600-front-light

It ain't arrived yet but I'll let you know what I think when it arrives!

Have a look at Magicshine too, I have one of their front lights (900 lumens from a few years ago) which is ridiculously bright.

Had a couple of drivers yelling at me about my light blinding them which is fair enough. No need to go OTT with the lumens for urban riding.

Absolutely. Mine has three brightnesses so it can be turned down when on-road, and I also have it pointed down onto the road in front of me slightly rather than pointing straight ahead.

Bought this in the end. Arrived really quickly too.

Little bigger than I'd expected, but its well built, the mounting system is good and the 3 intensities cover pretty much everything you'd need.
